Plan a Harry Potter Movie Marathon!

Hey people living on this planet!

As you may know, I'm literally in love with Harry Potter. Last winter, me and three of my friends-one huffelpuff, one ravenclaw and one gryffindor-held a Harry Potter Movie Marathon!

This was. very fun and we absolutely enjoyed it; it's great to see all the movies so short after eachother.

We didn't do it in one goal, though, but we spread it over two days after eachother; four movies a day. As all the films are longer than two hours, this was good for us. You could also see them in one go, but we considered that too long.

So, as I have experience on this subject, I decided to make it in to a step-by-step-plan. I think this is going to be quite long, but it will really help if you want to have a marathon yourself!
Here it comes!

Step 1. Decide for  yourself if you want to watch all the films in one single goal, or if you want to watch them in two halves.

Step 2. Ready? Now, ask some people-friends, family, etc.-if they would be interested in watching all the Harry Potter movies. Decide wether you want to watch the movies at daytime, or night, have a sleepover or not and if you want to watch four films one day and the other four the next. This takes some consideration.

Step 3. Try to set the date to, now you know how many people are coming and when they' re available.

Step 4. Location.It's quite important to have a nice place to held the marathon. It's basically done if you have a television;) Someone's home-probably yours- may be the best place to have it. I held the marathon in my basement, because that's a quit, not filled with furniture, room. We also slept in that same room on some matrasses. We watched everything with a beemer, wich is very nice because it feels like you're in a cinema. So, if you know anyone you can borrow it from, do it!

Step 5. So, if you' re following, you now have a date, location and guests. Now, you can start preparing the fun part!

Step 6. Take out all your Harry Potter movies and lay them in order, just because it's fun to prepare this.

Step 7. Decorate the room! Before your guests arrive, hang some Harry Potter posters on the walls, spread some clothing in the colours of the Hogwarts houses through the room and place a coat rack(is that how you say it? Probably not.) with witchhads and Harry Potter costumes on it.

Step 8. Prepare a Sorting Ceremony. By forehand, make some accounts on Pottermore for your guests and play through the first book until the sorting ceremony. When your guests are there, just go to one of the accounts-be sure to write down all the passwords- and let them be sorted! It's really fun to know  who's in wich house before you start the marathon, i did this too.

Step 9. Food and drinks. If you're guests stay for dinner, and I bet they will unless you send them home,
just give them something easy like chips or pizza. As the snacks throughout the movies, you could try to make some butterbeer by looking up a recipe. I couldn't find all the ingredients, so I just used Ginger Ale and cream, this looks like butterbeer, I swear! Next, try to find Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Frogs and other HP-Candy. You can also use YellyBeans and Halloween-candy from a sweets shop nearby your house.

Step 10.Find everything in your house related to Harry Potter and stuff it all in the room where you're watching.

Step 11. Run around the house or play a game of tablefootball in the breaks between movies, it's nice to lose some energy.

So, this was it! My plan to, hopefully, give you a great time watching Harry and his mates!

25 Facts about me!

Hey People living on this planet!
So, on youtube I saw so many people do the 50 or 25 facts about me tag, that I decided I wanted to do one myself, so that you guys can get to know me a little bit better :-)

And this is me! Not totally, but partly....

Here we go!
1. My name is Eva.
2. I have no middlename.
3. I don't have any brothers or sisters.
4. I love to make close-up photo's of lifeless items.

7. I went to three popconcerts in my life, two of Lady Gaga and one of Rihanna.
8. I've lost count on how many times I've been to a concert with classic music.
9. I play the violin.
10. I'm a vegetarian and have never eaten meat or fish in my entire life.
11. I practise ballet two times a week. I've been on this same dancingschool since I was about four or five years old.
12. I think all food is delicious, except from goat's cheese and Italian cheese.
13. My favourite television series is 'Lark Rise to Candleford'.
14. I'm in love with Downton Abbey.
15. I always need a television series to be addicted to, other wise I get really moody.
16. I don't read a lot, sometimes, but not as much as my mom; she reads three books a week!
17. If you don't wake me up, I can sleep until 1 p.m. without waking once.
18. I'm in love with crisps.
19. I really like baking cupcakes.
20. I don't really have a best friend, I have a group of friends which I really love.
21. Both my grandparents are still living.
22. I love my parents very very much.
23. I don't really like school, but if I had to choose my favourite class would be English.
24. I'm Dutch.
25. I'm fourteen years old, and my birthday is on the first of february.

Harry Potter Tag!

Hey people living on this planet!
So I was on youtube the other day, and I saw that there was a Harry Potter Tag!
If you know me a little, you'll know that I love Harry Potter and everything related to it.
So, I was quite sure I wanted to do this tag!-even tough it's a bit old:p-
I would really appreciate if you would read this, leave a comment and followed me:-)

So... Let's get started!!

1.Favourite book; My favourite Harry Potter book...... Omg, this is hard! I think it's The Goblet Of Fire, because I just love the tense of it, the tasks, the ball and Hermione's S.P.E.W., wich sadly didn't appear in the films.
2.Favourite movie; My favourite movie is......Damn, this is even harder! I absolutely love all of them, but if I had to choose it would be either Order of the Phoenix or Chamber of Secrets. I think I'll stick with the Order for now.
3.Least favourite book; I think that would be....Hmmm..... The first one, because it's the thinnest and I know it the best. No offense.
4.Least favourite film; This would be The Prisoner Of Azkaban. I really don't know why, but I've always felt least connected with this movie. Maybe it's the fact that Voldemort doesn't make any moves or appearances? I don't know...
5.Parts of the books/movies that made you cry; Of course Dobby's death. But most of all; Snape's memories in the movie. I thought they had done that so beautiful, I still cry every single time I see them.
6.Twilight vs. Harry Potter; I've never seen twilight, only trailers, but I'm just not attracted to it. I love Harry Potter!

 7. If you could hook up with any Harry Potter character, who would it be; Haha, well I've never really had a crush on one of the characters but I guess I'm going to be cliché; I love Harry, he's just to sweet.
8.Favourite character; Hermione Granger! Definitely, I've always loved her. When I was little I used to pretend to be Hermione all the time! I just love her, there nothing to be done about it.
9.What would your patronus be; Hmm, this may sound a bit odd, but I really feel like it would be a mouse. I've always loved them for no reason, and think they'll be my personal patronus.
10.If you could have the Resurrection Stone, Invisibility cloak or elder wand which one would you choose; Well, not the Elder Wand, so much power would scare me. The Resurrection Stone would be nice, but also a bit scary. I would take the invisibility cloak because I'd love to have a cloak to make you invisible. I'd love that!
11. Are you upset with any parts left out in the films?Well, I understand why they left some parts out because of the time, but I think it's a pity that Hermione's S.P.E.W. and Rita Skeeters animagus-plot have been left out. I am, on the other hand, a bit upset with the scene from the Halfblood Prince in wich the Burrow burns down. I loved that house! Was it so necessary to do that?
12. What House would you be in? Hufflepuff. I did the test on Pottermore and it said I'm a Hufflepuff. But even if it had said I'm in an other house, I would've still considered myself a Hufflepuff, it's just me. I have a bunch of Hufflepuff clothes and stuff at home, by the way:-)

13. Favorite subject at Hogwarts. Charms! I love wands and spells!
14. Favorite professor. McGonagall. After Bellatrix Lestrange and Hermione, she's my favourite character. I think she's funny and sweet.
15. If you could meet any member of the cast who would it be? Emma Watson!
16. If you could do one spell in real life what would it be? Protego, because I'm very anxious. Or Wingardium Leviosa, because that's my favourite spell.
17. Have you played any of the video games? One, of the Halfblood Prince, on my nintendo.
18. IF you were on the Quiddich team which position would you play? I'd be a Chaser, I think. Becasue my eyesight is not what it used to be anymore, a beater would be to scary, and so would a keeper... I'd like to be a chaser.
19. Were you happy with the ending? I was quite satisfied, but I'd love her to publish all the background information on Pottermore and in her head that never made the books into one big book.
20. How much does Harry Potter mean to you? Very much, I think that no day passes in my life without me thinking about Harry Potter. My rooms are filled with the posters and I have a collection of stuff from the films. I love Harry Potter and always will!

Keywords of my entertainment this summer.

Hey people!

So, it's summer!
And my summer always has a few certain 'keywords'. Things I'm really into this summer.
As one of them is making collages, I decided to make a few of them showing my keywords this summer. Please write a reaction on what your keywords are this summer!
Here they come;

 

I shall explain everything above here a bit;

1. Youtube, you've heard about that before.
2. I'm a huge potterhead and I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour London this holiday(Omg, it was amazing)
3. Me and my mom are addicted to the television show Mcleod's Daugthers at the moment. It has already stopped, but there are eight seasons! We've bought them all:-)
4. Oz the great and powerful is, in my opinion, a very fun and above all; really beautiful movie. It's very colourful and looks stunning. Finding Nemo is, I think, one of the most hilarious animated movies ever.

Some other stuff I'm into;

• Little Mix, which you've heard me talk about before.
• Jane Austen. Me and my parents were in Bath this summer and there was a lot about Jane Austen there. Now, I'm totally into it. I especially love Mr. Darcy.
• Megamashups! Try to search some of them on youtube. Really cool!
• Making a photo album online! It's really fun, and the result is beautiful! Try Albelli, if you're Dutch, or just google and you'll find something for your country easily!
• Eating Chinese food! Sadly, my mom says(she's probably right)that it's unhealthy so we don't eat it very often....
• Custard Cakes! Have you ever tasted them? Omg, so delicious!

What to listen to? #littlemix

Hey!

I literally have no idea if anyone on this planet has ever even seen this blog, so if you're reading this right now, and you're a human being, please leave a comment:P

So, in the music-area, I haven't had an obsession for quite a long time. Now, that's different. I'm totally in to Little Mix!

If you don't know who they are, let me explain it to you. Little Mix is a Brittish girl-group of four girls;

Perrie, the blond one, likes tacos, is a big fan of Jennifer Aniston, loves Flynn from the movie Tangled and cries everytime she sees the movie The Notebook:-)
She loves jeans and flowerpatterns.

She dates Zayn Malik,
from One Direction, by the way.
 I think she has a beautiful voice,
seems very sweet and is very pretty.

Jade, also a very pretty girl, loves biscuits and lasagna, likes the colours purple and teal and calles her fashion sense "geeky". She wears many bowties, which I consider very cool. She also seems very sweet.

                                   

The third one of the group is Jesy. I think Jesy's very cool and when I first saw a video of Little mix, she was my favourite.                                                                                                                         

Jesy can beatbox, her favourite musician is Missy elliot, she has a phobia of sandwiches(;-P), she's addicted to clicking her knuckels and washes her hair every single day.                                            

And last but not least; Leigh-Anne. Leigh-Anne seems very cool, chill, tough and ofcourse, sweet to me. Leigh-Anne's favourite musicians are Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Aaliyah(who I don't know, shame on me...). Her favourite colour is green, food nachos and she loves the song "wild ones"by Florida and Sia.

So, now you know all the Little Mix-girls as well as I do.

I think their music is totally awesome. Their songs are really cheerfull, happy and full of life. Here are some of my favourite from their album "DNA", which I'm listening all the time.

• Wings is, in my opinion, one of their best songs. It's really strong, the video is very cool and the message is great.
• Turn your face is a song that always makes me cry. The way they sing it is just so beautiful, and all their strong points really get the chance to shine.
• Going nowhere. Not many people I speak to have noticed this song, but I think it's really cool. It has a nice chill flow about it.
• We are who we are. I think this song has the best lyrics, I absolutely love it. The melodie, the message; everything fits.

What to watch? #youtubers

Hey guys!

So, today I'm gonna tell you something about my newest addiction; Youtubers.

I've totally discovered the whole youtube universe and I'm subscribed to more than seventy people right now, which is quite a lot because I watch all of their new videos. There's not one that I skip.

So here I have a short list of youtubers you should totally go and check out;
1. Dailygrace

Grace Helbig and her dog Goose are probably some of the coolest creatures on the planet. Grace has a theme for every workday and makes a new video five times a week, I don't now how she manages to do that!
2. Tyler Oakley

Omg, I love tyler. He's a boy in his twentys who has videos about all sorts of random stuff. I love him because his laugh and face are super-adorable.
3. Finebros

The finebros are two brothers from America with all sorts of cool projects on youtube. They do shows with teens, kids, elders and youtubers who react to random things. They also have a scripted-series called MyMusic, which is very cool. One time, they responded to one of my comments and I totally freaked out!
4. StilaBabe09

Meredith Foster makes videos about beauty and fashion, though she often says 'a smile is the best cosmetic'. She's really pretty, makes good videos and is- in my opinion- a very cute and funny person.
5 TessaRoxx

Tessa Netting is a great, slightly crazy and above all; very enthousiastic and funny girl. She's a Harry Potter-fan, like me, and loves theatre. She makes singing videos, parodies and more cool stuff :-)

Helloo!!

Hello everyone!
As you should know, it's summer 2013. And it's our summerholiday!
So, yesterday I got back from England where I stayed two weeks with my mom ( my dad wasn't there all the time). And now I'm back in the Netherlands, where I live, and I've got nothing to do.

So when I was on my laptop-this whole afternoon- I came across some blogs on this site, and I thought; why not! So, for my-and your- enjoyment, I started a blog.

I don't think many people are interested in what i have to say, but nonetheless I did it.

I'm gonna write about all sorts of things, but mostly things I'm really in to at the moment. Like a television series, youtuber, singer or anything!

I hope you'll enjoy my blog and I'll upload my first "real" message soon! Stay tuned!
